High index lenses, any thing above +/-3 will be an extra $30 charge. So if you have high index prescription e.g +/-4, +/-5 or +/-6 and you like to have a thin lens, we would have to use 1.6 high index lenses, hence extra charge.

We use lightweight CR39 plastic lenses for most of our glasses. For our 'thin' lenses, we use 1.6 high-index lenses. We do not offer glass lenses, but we offer a free anti-scratch coating on all our lenses.
